Hanover an ACF Charity & Workplace Giving PartnerAffordable and safe accommodation in Victoria is an increasing problem and see's over 20,000 Victorian's homeless each night. The lack of available housing and with increasing affordability issues, this means many people struggle to find and keep safe and secure housing. Once a client has left a crisis accomodation, there are few options left except to try and find a private rental for long term accommodation.

Hanover was established in 1964 as the first independent, non-government, or religious organisation focussing on homelessness in Melbourne. Hanover is an independent, non profit organisation providing programs and services for people who are homeless, or at imminent risk of becoming so, to enable them to take greater control over their lives.
