Collins Foods Group launched their Workplace Giving program in December 2008.
The program has been a huge success thanks to an effective launch, some innovative ideas and lots of enthusiasm!
Several factors contributed to the program’s success:
- The program was launched by the Collins Foods Group CEO - Workplace Giving research shows that program success is improved by senior leadership engagement and support.
- They recognise and promote a sense of competition amongst all managers – this has lead to some stores having participation rates of over 75%!
- There is regular communication to staff about the program, about the charities and about what’s happening and what their goals are.
- They have a passionate and engaged group of charity champions who help educate and involve their team mates.
