Mummy's Wish
Mummy's Wish is a unique charity focusing on providing practical support and information to mothers diagnosed with cancer when they have young children to care for.
Some of the practical support we organise and pay for includes: baby-sitting while the mums are receiving treatment, housecleaning to ensure the mum can focus her energy on getting better, a laptop with internet access so with long stays in hospital a mum can read stories to and see her children, grocery vouchers and petrol vouchers. We also provide some extra special support to mums who are terminally ill from cancer. In 2011 we will be supporting more than 100 mums and their families.
